Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years managing a diverse sales team of outside customers-facing sales reps.
  • Experience in the fire protection/special hazard systems or explosion protection industry. Must be familiar with Fike, Kidde, and Xtralis products.
  • Manage and own company CRM System - Plus if you have Copper CRM experience.
  • Ability to mentor and coach a variety of personalities on the sales team.
  • Work with little supervision.
  • Build a high-performing team.
  • Ability to travel within the Florida region, with some travel to industry or manufacturer training events.
  • Player- Coach: work in-house and high-profile accounts to manage customer service and sales activities.


What is expected:

  • Day-to-day management of the sales team, including but not limited to:
  • Awareness and management of sales team schedule, assisting with time management.
  • Monitor CRM input and sales activities.
  • Assist in coaching the sales process through one-on-one and team meetings and events.
  • Weekly in-office meetings are required.


Update CRM Reporting:

  • Ensure the sales team enters data in a timely fashion,
  • Manage pipeline(s) from a high level to ensure revenue targets are met.
  • Assign and audit contact ownership to the sales team (account assignment and management).


Meeting with management monthly and quarterly to provide updates:

  • Update sales forecasts,
  • Review the Pipeline of sales teams.
  • Update sales team needs for training, tools, and personnel issues.


Assist management in marketing activities:

  • Participate in industry, trade, and vendor events on-site and off-site,
  • Attend meetings with management to support the creation and feedback of marketing efforts for company collateral/handouts, print ads, website content, or as directed.


Personal sales efforts:

  • Manage day-to-day sales needs for "House" accounts,
  • Manage high-profile project sales and accounts.


Mentoring and coaching:

  • Provide one-on-one coaching and mentoring,
  • Perform ride-along training days.
  • Conduct sales meetings that provide not only revenue review but focus on professional growth.


Product management:

  • Assist management with review, selection, and update of vendors and products,
  • Investigate and present new technologies that fit within Flagship Fire, Inc.'s go-to-market needs.
